Mine a Mountain is not a squad-building game. This preserved URL now helps choose the gear and consumables needed for one mining objective.
Choose the objective before the items
Do not carry or activate every tool. Match the Pickaxe, Warmth, Backpack, Radar, Rune, or Bomb to the run you are about to make.

What to prepare

| Normal crystal run | Pickaxe + enough Warmth + empty Backpack | Do not activate a timed Rune without a target. |
| Boulder / Rune run | Required Pickaxe + Boulder Radar + spare capacity | Scan first; skip boulders the Pickaxe cannot break. |
| Long climb | Warmth + Backpack + safe return margin | A larger bag is wasted if cold ends the run first. |
| Bomb run | Bombs + capacity + planned crystal area | Do not assume bombs replace Pickaxe requirements for boulders. |
