Stop buying Warmth
When capacity or mining speed consistently ends the run before cold.
Progress by removing the first thing that ends a profitable run—not by buying every upgrade once.
Run, observe the first blocker, buy the matching upgrade, and repeat. Warmth extends survival, Backpack extends capacity, and Pickaxe reduces mining time.
Mine nearby crystals, return before freezing, sell the haul, and do not spend until you know what ended the run first.
Cold first means Warmth; a full bag means Backpack; slow breaking means Pickaxe. Change one variable, then repeat the same route.
Once the first blocker is stable, extend the route gradually. A longer climb is only progress if you can return with a useful haul.
Use Boulder Radar when you can act on the markers. Mine boulders with the required Pickaxe, then activate timed Runes only for a planned session.
The official game description says the mountain changes every hour. Do not assume yesterday's path, crystal access, or boulder cluster is still optimal.
When capacity or mining speed consistently ends the run before cold.
When you return because of cold or slow mining with unused space.
When travel, cold, or capacity—not breaking time—is now the bottleneck.
