MineAMountain
Practical combinations

Loadouts and tools

Mine a Mountain does not need a vague 'best build.' Match upgrades and utility to the job you are doing in the next run.

Choose by failure point

Pickaxe addresses slow mining, backpack addresses forced sell trips, and warmth addresses cold-limited climbs. Radar supports boulder searches; bombs are situational mining utility. There is no verified universal stat ratio that makes one loadout best.

Loadout cards

Four jobs, four sensible setups

These are decision templates, not fixed price or stat claims.

Pickaxe + enough backpack space

Short cash run

Stay on reachable crystals, sell quickly, and avoid paying for warmth you will not use on this run.

Warmth + backpack

Long climb

Use when cold ends the route before mining speed does. Capacity matters because a long return trip makes early sell stops expensive.

Pickaxe + Boulder Radar

Boulder and rune run

Player footage shows the radar highlighting boulders and the pickaxe breaking them. Place recovered runes on your plot and check their remaining timer before moving them.

Bombs + spare capacity

Bomb-assisted run

Use bombs where they save meaningful mining time, then make sure the resulting haul fits. Prices and efficiency can change, so test before buying in bulk.

Before spending

Use one test run

  1. 1. Choose one goal: cash, altitude, boulders, or fast clearing.
  2. 2. Run until cold, capacity, or mining speed becomes the obvious constraint.
  3. 3. Buy the matching upgrade once.
  4. 4. Repeat the same type of run and keep investing only if the bottleneck improved.
